I just love this picture of DJ. This is from last year early fall, when we were taking poi lessons. Kind of has a rock-star quality to it. Even though it has only been 6 months, he looks so young here. Time just fly's by.

Making Cashew Chicken Curry

We straightened his hair. He loves it.

One of the kids in DJ's class is Japanese and on a visit back to Japan, there was a 'visa -mishap' and she could not return. Recently two of the girls' friends visited her in Japan. They brought back 15 love-notes from the former classmate's new classmates. Apparently she had shown them a picture of DJ and they all fell in love with him. The notes say things like, "Will you be my boyfriend?" and "I like you". There was even one from a guy, who's gay.

Me: You know... you're cute.
DJ: Yeah... I guess so.
Me: Why don't we set up a website with your picture, you can write back to everyone and give them the url and for very little money they can get a new picture of you every month!
DJ: <laughing> That's funny.
Me: Yeah, you can have an International Fan Club... Wait a minute, you already do!
DJ: <laughing> I guess I do.
