Vote NO on Prop 66 in CA

This is the prop to amend the 3 Strikes Law. Part of that amendment will reclassify what is considered a serious crime. If this prop passes, here are some crimes that will no longer be classified as ‘serious’ and thus not eligible for a strike. Everything in parenthesis will no longer be considered ‘serious’.

Someone can break into your home [residential burglary] and wait for your kids to come home. When your kids come home, he can lock them in a room, for hours, or days and threaten to “kill them” if they ever tell [false imprisonment].
He can abuse them [child abuse]. He can abuse their disabled grandmother as well [elder abuse]. He can injure them or threaten them because of race or religion [hate crimes]. He can fondle your 14-year-old boy or girl's private areas. [sexual battery]. He can force a 17 year old into a life of prostitution by threat or violence [pimping and pandering]. He can stalk them for years [stalking].
He can threaten to rape and kill them if they ever tell authorities [criminal threats].
He can burn down their dad's office building if they tell anyone about him [arson].
He can get drunk and cause a car accident and kill or cause great bodily injury to your kids and loved ones.
He can torture, mutilate and kill your dog in front of your kids [killing, torture, mutilating of animals].
He can photograph your kids naked and distribute pictures to pedophiles [child pornography].
NONE OF THESE WILL BE CONSIDERED “SERIOUS” UNDER PROP 66
